Small Groups

We desire groups at FBC to be a place where people pray for and care for one another, study God’s Word, discuss the issues and challenges of life, and are missed if they don’t show up. We believe sustained life change happens best in the context of community, and First Baptist Church wants to be the place where you can live this out. So regardless of your marital status, your age, or whether you are just beginning to explore Christ’s claims or have been a Christ follower for a long time, we can help you find the right place. We offer two different settings for one to connect in a small group. Sunday morning small groups meet on campus throughout the year. Discipleship small groups are short term studies that meet on or off campus during the week and on Sunday nights.

Sunday Morning Small Groups

How do I find a small group on Sunday morning?

There are two Welcome and Information Centers. One is located in the main entrance area of the back of the Worship Center. The other one is located in the Atruim which is in the middle of all our buildings. People are stationed at these places to answer your questions and help you find the location for your small group.

What will happen when I arrive at a Welcome Center?

You will be greeted by volunteers who will give you some printed information and answer your questions. They will even walk with you to help you find the Sunday School small groups for you and your family.

Which Sunday morning small group and Worship service should I attend?

You have three options:

  • You can attend a Sunday morning small group at 8:15 am* and Blended Worship at 9:30 am.
  • You can attend a Sunday morning small group at 9:30 am and Contemporary Worship at 11:00 am
  • You can attend a Sunday morning small group at 11:00 am and Blended Worship at 9:30 am.

*Childcare, children’s classes and youth classes are not offered at the 8:15 am Sunday School hour.

Spring 2023 Discipleship Small Groups

Our small group discipleship ministry is a place where individuals are given the opportunity to advance their knowledge and understanding of the Word of God at their own pace.  We recognize the unique interest of each individual by offering classes that provide help in one’s spiritual growth regardless of where a person is in his Christian walk.
