FBCUC Women’s Ministry encourages women to learn their spiritual gifts, grow in their faith and be in community through study, discipleship, service and fellowship and FUN! We have opportunities for Women’s Bible Studies, Individual Discipleship Groups, an annual retreat and special events in addition to serving in ministries throughout the church.

Intentional Discipleship Groups (IDG’s)
These groups meet during the “school” year. They are made up of three to four individuals and are guided by leaders who are enlisted, trained and approved.
The involvement is for an initial six-week commitment and, if continuing, lasts up to seven months. Most groups meet weekly for an hour and half; faithful attendance is required.
Groups require one to two hours of homework per week with an expectation of regular prayer for one another and a daily devotional. The studies emphasize application, accountability and affirmation and the word of God is the center of discussion.
