Small Groups

At FBC, we believe that groups should be a place where people can pray for and support one another, study God’s Word, and discuss various issues and challenges of life. We think that sustained life change is best achieved in the context of community, and we want First Baptist Church to be that place for you. Whether you’re single, married, young, or old, whether you’re new to faith or have been following Christ for a while, we’re here to help you find the right group. We offer two different types of small groups: Sunday morning groups that meet on campus all year round, and discipleship groups that meet for short-term studies either on or off campus during the week and on Sunday evenings.

Sunday Morning Small Groups

How do I find a small group on Sunday morning?

There are two Welcome and Information Centers. One is located in the main entrance area of the back of the Worship Center. The other one is located in the Atruim which is in the middle of all our buildings. People are stationed at these places to answer your questions and help you find the location for your small group.

What will happen when I arrive at a Welcome Center?

You will be greeted by volunteers who will give you some printed information and answer your questions. They will even walk with you to help you find the Sunday School small groups for you and your family.

Which Sunday morning small group and Worship service should I attend?

You have three options:

  • You can attend a Sunday morning small group at 8:15 am* and Blended Worship at 9:30 am.
  • You can attend a Sunday morning small group at 9:30 am and Contemporary Worship at 11:00 am
  • You can attend a Sunday morning small group at 11:00 am and Blended Worship at 9:30 am.

*Childcare, children’s classes and youth classes are not offered at the 8:15 am Sunday School hour.

Spring 2024 Discipleship Small Groups

Our small group discipleship ministry is a place where individuals are given the opportunity to advance their knowledge and understanding of the Word of God at their own pace.  We recognize the unique interest of each individual by offering classes that provide help in one’s spiritual growth regardless of where a person is in his Christian walk.
