Youth D-Now Registration

“D-Now” stands for Disciple Now. In its simplest form, a Disciple Now is a weekend retreat for a youth group packed with an incredible line-up of artists and speakers. Students will spend Friday and Saturday at a conference-style event while building community and diving deeper in small groups, then we will come together to worship at the 11:00 am service on Sunday, February 27 at First Baptist Church of Universal City.

  • WHAT DOES THE REGISTRATION COST?

The early bird rate will be $49 from now until February 3rd, then the price will jump to $60.


  • WHAT DOES THE D-NOW SCHEDULE LOOKS LIKE?

FRIDAY –
6:15 pm Parents Drop students off at First Baptist Church of Universal City
6:45 pm Depart to Community Bible Church
7:15 pm Check-in / registration / Doors open

7:30 pm – 9:30 pm session one
9:30 pm Student return to Host Homes

SATURDAY –
8:00 am Breakfast at Host Homes
9:00-9:15 am Students will arrive at Community Bible Church.
9:15 pm Check-in / registration / Doors open
9:30 am – 10:35 am Session two

10:35 am – 10:45 am Break
10:45 am – 12:00 pm Session three
12:00 pm – 1:15 pm Lunch small group discussion
1:15 pm doors open
1:30 pm – 3:30 pm Session four
3:30 pm – 4:00 pm Students are transported back to FBCUC
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm Small group discussion
5:00 pm – 6:30 pm Epic Activities
6:30 pm – 8:00 pm Dinner at FBCUC

9:30 am – 10:00 am Breakfast in the student spaces at FBCUC
10:00 am – 11:00 am Recap and Small group discussion
11:00 am All D-Now students together in the main service at FBCUC
12:00 pm Dismissal


  • WHAT DOES MY STUDENT NEED TO BRING FOR THE D-NOW?

We encourage all students to bring their bible, a journal, pens, reusable water bottles, and extra cash in case they want to purchase any merchandise or snack items from vending machines.


  • ARE STUDENTS STAYING IN HOST HOMES?

Yes! Our students will be divided by grade and gender to spend the night in host homes. We will have all the details for your student host home by the parent meeting. We will also offer a conference-only option for those who do not wish to spend the night at the host homes.


  • WHO WILL BE THE SPEAKERS/ARTISTS FOR D-NOW?

  • WHAT MEALS WILL MY STUDENT BE GIVEN DURING D-NOW?

Students will be given breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, as well as breakfast on Sunday at 9:30 am. Please make sure your student eats dinner before check-in on Friday evening. All the meals apply to Conference only students except breakfast on Saturday.


  •  WHO IS LIFT TOUR?
