Youth D-Now Registration

“D-Now” stands for Disciple Now. In its simplest form, a Disciple Now is a weekend retreat for a youth group packed with an incredible worship team and a special speaker. This year, we will have two options: conference only (for students not spending the night at host homes) and full weekend. Students will spend Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday morning in host homes, while building community and diving deeper in small groups, culminating together at the 11:00 am service on Sunday, March 2 at First Baptist Church of Universal City.

Yes! Our students will be divided by grade and gender to spend the night in host homes. We will have all the details for your student host home by the parent meeting. Please note that conference only students are responsible for their own transportation the whole weekend.

          • WHAT MEALS WILL MY STUDENT BE GIVEN DURING D-NOW?
Students will be given breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, as well as breakfast on Sunday at 9:30 am. Please make sure your student eats dinner before check-in on Friday evening. All the meals apply to Conference only students except breakfast on Saturday.

              • WHAT IS THE THEME FOR D-NOW?
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” —2 Timothy 1:7

Fear can keep your students from being all that God called them to be. Whether it’s insecurity, doubt, fear of rejection, or the fear of unmet expectations, fear holds many of our students back. The problem with this is, of course, that God has called us to face our fears and lean-in to who He desires us to be. Scripture is clear: God empowers us to meet the tasks He’s set in front of us.
