Visiting a new church can be intimidating
We understand the many questions that can arise from planning to visit a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit.
Below is information to help you on your first visit.
What can you expect on your first visit?
We like to think of ourselves as the smallest big church around. That means there are lots of people, but it is a friendly and welcome atmosphere nonetheless!
What do I wear?
We are thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on worship and fellowship than what you’re wearing. In the summertime, it’s not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a shirt. Others prefer to still put on their “Sunday best,” and that’s fine too! We think you’ll fit in no matter how you dress.
What about kids?
Our next gen staff and volunteers are committed, vetted, and provide all our kids a safe learning environment. We have nursery for Kindergarten and under during both worship hours. We also have small groups for all ages during both hours.
What is the service like?
Our 9:30am and 11:00am worship gatherings last about 70 minutes. We sing praises and hymns each week, observe the Lord's Supper and baptism some weeks, and hear an expositional (verse-by-verse) sermon every week. On some weeks, there is a Q&A right after the sermon so you can text the pastor a question anonymously for him to answer.
