The Goal of our Worship Ministry is:
- to lead the Church in heart-felt, meaningful, demonstrative worship of God
- to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ’s saving and resurrecting power inside and outside of the Church
- to disciple believers in spiritual growth with particular emphasis on worship and worship leadership
Worship Choir
Do you have a passion and calling to lead worship? The Worship Choir’s primary mission is to lead the congregation in worship. Rehearsing on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm in the Chapel, we enjoy rehearsal, worship, fellowship, discipleship and ministering through prayer. We gather again on Sunday morning to prepare further for worship leadership. This choir is open to everyone who loves Jesus, and want to sing his praises!
Rhythm Team
The rhythm team provides the primary musical support for worship. They rehearse on Wednesday evenings, at 7:30 in the Sanctuary. Contact the Worship Ministry office if you are interested in joining the Worship Band as a guitarist, bassist, drummer, percussionist, or keyboardist.
Worship Orchestra
The orchestra leads worship along with the Rhythm Team. The orchestra is made up of brass, woodwinds, strings and percussion. You must be able to read music and will need an appointment for an interview to be in the orchestra. Rehearsals are Wednesday nights at 7:00pm.
Tech Crew
The FBCUC Tech Crew is comprised of adults and students who are trained to run the sound, lighting, projection, and broadcast elements of our services. They serve every Wednesday night & Sunday morning, and occasionally have extra events.
Vertical Collective and 220 Band
The Vertical Collective and 220 Band represent the student element of our worship ministry. The Collective is a vocal group that serves at HERD Nights, in missional outreach, and as part of our Sunday morning, intergenerational services.
The 220 Band focuses on leading the mid-week worship services for our High School and Middle School ministries.
Take Note (4 yrs. to 5th grade)
Take Note is our children's choir, which meets every Wednesday night from 5:30-6:15 pm. We focus on music fundamentals as we plant the seeds of worship leading in our youngest groups. Take Note leads in Power Up (at the beginning of Sunday School) and in our main worship services at various times throughout the school year.
Everlasting Praise Choir (50 & up)
Our senior adult choir meets on Tuesdays at 10:00 am in the Chapel. Rehearsals are held from August through May, and we serve through off-campus ministry opportunities. We would love for you to join our choir! For more information, please fill out our Worship Interest Form at the bottom of the page.
JuBELLation
JuBELLation is our handbell choir for adults. They meet at 6:00 pm every Wednesday from September thru May (summer break in June, July and August). Must be able to read music.
