The Cooperative Program
As a church, we have committed to giving 10% of all our general budget income toward The Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention. By doing this, we join thousands of other churches in supporting 1) missions endeavors all over the world (IMB & NAMB), and 2) theological education for future pastors, church leaders, church planters, and missionaries.
Through the International Mission Board, more than 40,000 churches across America support close to 4000 full-time missionaries all over the world.
By partnering with NAMB, we get to be one part of sending thousands of missionaries, chaplains, and church planters on mission through evangelism and compassion in North America.
Church Planters
Matt Boyd is pastor of Sojourn Church PDX. He has been planting in Portland, OR since 2017. He is married to Andrea and they have 3 boys, Elliot, Liam, and
Oliver.
Zach Van Veldhuizen and Chaz Hofler are co-planters of The Borough Church. Zach is married to Caroline and they have 3 beautiful children, Bethany (7), Rebekah (2), and Jonathan (1). Zach and Chaz have been pastors of the Borough since 2020 and continue to press forward with the gospel in Brooklyn, NY.
