Community event – “Love Where You Live – Schertz”

Love Where You Live is a city-wide initiative to help neighbors with maintenance and home repairs in the City of Schertz. We will be coordinating with several other churches to care for our community through cleaning up yards, helping with technical jobs, tree cutting, and fixing fences. There is no age limit. We are coordinating this service project through three core groups. Sunday school classes, student ministry, and childrens ministry. If a family wants to serve together, they can sign up as a group and pick one of those categories to sign up under.

We will meet at the parking lot of Schertz First Baptist Church, 600 Aero Avenue, Schertz at 9:45 am.
All volunteers are required to sign a release prior to service and bring it on Oct. 15.
