Prayer Room

We have set aside a special room in our church where people dedicate one hour weekly to come and pray. We pray for the personal needs of our members, the corporate needs of our congregation, and the needs of our community and world.  Maybe you could commit to one hour a week or month to come and pray. For more information, contact Cherlyn Varnes.

Call To Prayer

This is a time for the congregation to come together and pray for the ministries of FBCUC. During this time, those who are comfortable praying aloud are encouraged to do so, while others pray quietly in agreement.  These gatherings are normally held in the Peace Auditorium once a month on Monday at 6:00 am, 12:00 noon, and 7:00 pm.  Call the church office to find out about the next Call to Prayer.

Wednesday Night Prayer Gathering

This is a weekly time of group prayer to seek the Father’s hand upon our congregation. Intercession is made for the personal needs of our members as well as non-members. This group meets Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm in Pastor David’s office.

Ladies Prayer Meeting

A time has been set aside for the ladies to intercede on behalf of our immediate families, our extended families and our church family.  Please join us on Wednesdays at 11:00 am (following Ladies Bible study) in room 203 in the Peace building.

SABA Men’s Prayer Meeting

Every third Wednesday of the month, meet with other men to pray at 6:30 pm in room 103A in the Love building. Call the church office to find out about the next meeting.

Behind the Scenes

Pray alone or with a partner during Sunday morning Worship Service.  Pastor David’s small office is close enough to the sanctuary that those praying can follow the service and pray accordingly. We are asking for a quarterly commitment to pray either first or second service. For more information, contact Cherlyn Varnes.

Prayer Journal

Each week we prepare a prayer journal that lists prayer requests for each day of the upcoming week. It is designed to be used during your daily time with the Father. The Prayer Journal is available on the two Information Boards.

Pastor’s Prayer Requests

Each Monday our pastor prepares a list of the current prayer needs in his life and the life of the congregation. The list is sent out via email.  Register here to join this group.

Prayer Email

Emails are sent out daily informing recipients of all deaths, upcoming surgeries/procedures and other emergencies.  Register here to join this group.
